Every year in March, Chicago’s Irish and citizens of all kinds celebrate Irish history and its proud legacy by simply having fun and remembering those who came before from the “old sod”! Celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day Season and journey with us to the South Side and into the heart of Irish Chicago!

Chicago is home to a large number of Irish-Americans who have helped to shape the culture and history of the Second City. Today, the Irish is the Chicago’s largest ethnic population with over 201 thousand people – just ahead of Germans and Polish descent.
Sights & Stops: Old St. Pat’s Church, O’Leary Barn & the Great Chicago Fire, Bridgeport and the Irish Mayors, “Rainbow Cone”, Ridge Historic Home District, “Beverly Hills”, Givens Castle, Raymond W. Evans House – 1908 & H. Howard Hyde House – 1916 – Frank Lloyd Wright Homes, Mount Greenwood and Mount Olivet Cemeteries and of course, a pint at the one and only Cork & Kerry or Barney Callaghan’s!
