“Great History and Holiday tour!”

5 of 5 stars

Another great tour by Dan! Dan loves history and it shows in his tours. This is the second tour I've taken with him and the third my husband has taken. Lots of history and stories shared. This tour was a lot of fun with trivia contests (and prizes!) Part of the tour was in the pedway, part by bus, and a small amount of walking outside between historic hotels. Lots of fun surprises sprinkled in this tour too. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Great Holiday Lights Tour!

“Holiday Lights Tour” - 5 of 5 stars

A great tour of the pedways and holiday lights. When we booked this tour I worried that it was too long, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our tour guide was fabulous and entertained us with stories and history for the entire time. We toured both the Pedway and various holiday sites all over downtown Chicago. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour and I have been recommending it to our friends and neighbors. The time flew by, and Dan and his "elf" were helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Can't wait to take another tour with this group!

“Educational and Fun”

Reviewed August 24, 2015

"Our guide, Rick Zieman, led us on a wonderful walking tour along the riverfront. I learned so much, even though I have taken many tours of the city. He provides a book of pictures and maps that is invaluable in connecting the past to the present. His love for Chicago is infectious, and the tour is lots of fun, too. I took this same tour a few years ago with a friend (we are both teachers,) and I always wanted to share it with my husband. He was so glad he came! We had a beautiful, sunny day, and the three hours just flew by. The pace was just right. This is a great tour."

“Riverwalk and Loop Tour—Fantastic Time!!”

August 18, 2015 - I am a history professor and therefore I can't help but be a tiny bit picky when I visit historical sites or go on tours. With that being said, Dan was a fantastic tour guide. He is knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining. He clearly loves Chicago--his enthusiasm for the city, the architecture and the history was infectious. It was probably one of the best history tours I have been on and my favorite thing from my recent trip to Chicago.

“Awesome tour!!” 5 of 5 stars - Reviewed June 3, 2015 - NEW This tour was awesome! We did the Brunch tour. Our tour guide was Dan and he was amazing from the start. We were visiting Chicago from CT and I needed to call and change the details of my tour. He was very helpful! The tour itself was great .. Lots of fun facts about Chicago but not boring .. and the brunch was delicious! Dan made it fun and entertaining for visitors! He even went above and beyond to send me a refund when I accidentally overpaid! Totally impressed and would recommend this to anyone going to Chicago! I wish I could have done another tour while I was there :)

“Outstanding” Bus Tour!

essanay-studio.jpg

Reviewed April 13, 2015 - NEW -This is way more than a bus tour of Chicago! Tour guide gives you history, stories, teaches the culture of different neighborhoods, explains the cycles the city has gone through, offers snacks and beverages, is very courteous and there is seemingly few things he doesn't know about the City of Chicago. Well worth the time and cost if you are looking to learn more about Chicago.
